"40 & Fabulous" Celebration

Friday, August 12 – Tuesday, September 20

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dr. David and Connie Hellyer’s land donation that created the park with 40 days of savings and fun, Aug. 12 through Sept. 20.

During the “40 & Fabulous” celebration, all visitors will receive $4 off general admission and the 40th person in the front gate every day will receive free admission. 

Also taking place are “Free 40 Fridays” in which all 40-year-olds will receive FREE admission on Fridays throughout the celebration (with photo identification). 

The savings will continue in the park with daily meal deals in the Forest Café, including a $4 sandwich special and a $4 kids’ meal special. The gift shop will feature a special as well: buy one item and receive 40% off a second item of equal or lesser value. 

The first elk bugling tours of the season on Sept. 10 and 11 also will be offered at a discounted price of $40 per person.

Along with savings galore, the 40 & Fabulous celebration will include “Random Acts of Awe” in which randomly selected visitors throughout the park will receive sneak peeks into animal caretaking and exhibits.  Animal keepers will guide small groups behind the scenes for a fun and unique perspective of the park. 

Kids and the young-at-heart will enjoy participating in special crafty critters activities, park-wide scavenger hunts and the 40th birthday party for Footloose, the park’s mascot.
