Experience captivating Northwest wildlife. Whether you are peering out of the tram at bellowing bison less than 10 feet away or standing nose-to-nose with an otter, exciting wildlife encounters happen every day at Northwest Trek.

Tram Tour
Board the tram to tour 435 acres of beautiful natural habitat - wetlands, forest and meadows, filled with native wildlife. You never know what will be just around the corner!

Walking Tour
Walk at your own pace on winding trails through the forest. From bears to bobcats you will experience many of the Northwest's best wildlife up close!

Nature Trails
For a 5-minute stroll or an hour hike, these secluded trails are a great way to spot and identify local birds, insects and plant life.

Cheney Discovery Center and Baker Research Cabin
These hands-on centers are filled with fun, unforgettable adventure! Kids of all ages can dress up, watch snakes, touch fur pelts, hear animal noises and much more.

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is open daily through October. Park hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends through June 30, with trams running every 90 minutes beginning at 10 a.m. Hours July 1 to Sept. 4 are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Admission is $12 or less, depending on applicable discounts. AAA, military & Pierce County resident discounts are available. MC, Visa, Discover & Traveler's checks accepted.
