Located in Seattle’s popular Ballard neighborhood, the National Nordic Museum traces the Nordic themes of connection to nature, sustainability, social justice, and innovation from the earliest anthropological records through contemporary Nordic society in its permanent exhibition. Rotating guest exhibitions feature works from acclaimed Nordic institutions and collections. Hosting more than 100 events a year, including the popular Julefest every November, the Museum shares Nordic culture, values, and ideas with people of all ages and backgrounds to create connections, generate dialogue, and inspire new perspectives.
